It was released today that Jessica Lange is the new face of Marc Jacobs Beauty. I can not tell you how much I love this. I think she is a total stunner and I can only hope I look as good as she does when I’m her age. Did I mention she’s 64!!! Damn. She IS gorgeous, but what I love most about her is that she doesn’t look fake. She actually looks like a real woman. I’ve loved watching her in American Horror Story and I can not wait to see some pictures from her Marc Jacobs Campaign. Her eyes in the picture above are fabulous and that thick gel liner and smokey eyes are perfect on her. Her bold brows! Perfection.
With NARS crowning Charlotte Rampling (love her!) as the new face of their 20th anniversary campaign, I think it’s safe to say that we are FINALLY starting to break away from only having brands feature “typical” models for their campaigns. By typical I mean young. I’m happy to see a good mixture of ages being represented. After all, it’s not just young people buying the beauty products and beauty isn’t only young individuals. I hope this trend continues.
