At times I get overwhelmed with all of the new releases and it’s impossible for me to keep up with it all. So there will always be products that I didn’t pick up right away when they were released. The products I’m talking about today are exactly those type of products. New (to me) Products. Some are just products that I hadn’t tried and thought- Why Not? Hope you are all having a Happy Friday!
1. L’Oreal Miss Manga Mascara ($6.99 and up)
I had seen so many bloggers post about this and I finally picked it up in the store recently. I have read very mixed reviews on this mascara, but for me it works pretty good! It’s more of a thick, clumpy type of mascara (in a good way) and it’s a very wet formula. I haven’t had any issues with it flaking off and it is easily removed with a cleanser. I think what is so special about this mascara is the brush. It is able to move around and really allow you to work the product in your lashes at a lot of angles. It’s also smaller on one of the brush ends. So far this one is a keeper! I’ll be doing a separate review of this with before and after pictures soon!
2. Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation ($7.00 and up)
So my fellow blogger Vivienne texted me one day about the Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation she was loving and so I picked it up. Thank you, Viv! I am in love with this foundation. It applies fantastic and it feels like I’m wearing nothing on my skin. The coverage is build-able and it works fantastic with my slightly oily skin. It’s been in the 90’s here lately and this lasts a really decent amount of time considering the crazy heat and humidity. Plus, it’s under $10!! I got mine at Target as they were the cheapest around! Interested in learning more about this foundation? Comment below and I’ll do a review if you guys would like to see more about it.
3. Josie Maran Argan Cleansing Oil ($32.00)
I’ve been doing the double cleanse method for quite some time now and I’m a big, big fan. It leaves my skin feel so soft and I think it has made a significant difference in my skin texture. There were times when I felt like my makeup was still on my skin even though I had already washed it and no one wants that. This ensures my skin is clean and soft. The Josie Maran Argan Cleansing Oil smells so good and leaves my skin feeling so soft and clean. I’ve been using this at nighttime and I actually find myself looking forward to using it. Love this!! I only had a small sample size bottle, but I’m for sure going to be picking up the full sized one. I’m working on a review of a bunch of different cleansing oil options so stay tuned for that! Any suggestions?
4. Oil of Olay 2 in 1 Advanced Ribbons Body Wash ($4.00 and up)
Oh my goodness. Where has this body wash been all of my life? It’s super easy on the budget, smells fantastic and leaves my skin so soft. I can even shave with this no problem. I love how fresh this smells and it lathers up fantastic. Can we also talk about how soft it leaves my skin?!? A little bit of this goes a long way. I’m really excited to have added this to my shower routine! Who would have known a body wash from the drugstore would make me this happy!!
So those are some of the new (to me) products that I’ve been really enjoying lately. Is there any products that you’ve used lately that just really impressed you? Or maybe a product that you’d like me to review? Comment below!! I’m always looking for more products to try! I’ve got some really good and very promising new products that I’m testing out now that I’ll have reviews up on the blog soon!
