The Sephora Savings Event kicks off October 30, and yes, I have thoughts. Is it the most incredible sale ever? No. As Larry David would say… it’s ehhh. But will I happily take up to 20% off products I already love and use? Absolutely.
After years of shopping this sale (and buying more beauty products than any one person could possibly need), I’ve learned to be a little more strategic about what goes into my cart. For me, it’s about restocking my favorites, saving on the pricey stuff, grabbing a few holiday gifts, and leaving a little room for something fun.
Sephora Savings Event 2026 Dates
- Rouge: 20% off, October 30 – November 9
- VIB: 15% off, November 3 – 9
- Insider: 10% off, November 3 – 9
- Sephora Collection: 30% off for all Beauty Insiders, October 30 – November 9
Use code ALLONSALE online, or shop in store. Heads up: Sephora limits quantities on a few brands (including Dyson and Shark Beauty), so check the exclusions before you check out.
The Holiday Gift Set I Buy Every Single Year (Really)
Dr. Jart+ Holiday Mask Sets
This one has become a little holiday tradition in our family. Every year, I buy my sister-in-law a Dr. Jart+ holiday mask set, and every year, she buys one for me. You’d think we’d eventually come up with something different, but nope. We both love them, and honestly, why mess with a good thing?
Holiday sets like this are practical, fun to receive, and a great way to try several products. You could also break one up and have a few little gifts ready to go. You know those unexpected guests that always show up…. If you’re shopping for a skincare lover, this is one of the first things I’d look at.
The Big-Ticket Beauty Purchases
If you’ve been eyeing an expensive beauty tool or a luxury splurge, the sale is a good time to finally pull the trigger. I’m talking about things like:
- Dyson Airwrap
- Omnilux Clear Skin Blue and Red Light Therapy Mask
- Shark Beauty FacialPro Glow At-Home Facial System
- Westman Atelier
- Gucci (think makeup and fragrance!)
- YSL (I love their Intense fragrance and so much of their makeup)
- Pretty much any luxury fragrance
These aren’t inexpensive purchases, so 15–20% off really can make a difference. My advice? If you’ve researched it, you know you’ll use it, and it’s in your budget, take advantage of the savings. But don’t buy a $500 tool simply because it’s on sale. You’re still spending hundreds of dollars!
I’d also put pricier skincare and haircare in this category. If there’s something you repurchase constantly and rarely see discounted, now’s the time to stock up.
My Tried-and-True Favorites
This is the category where I spend the most during the sale. I love trying new things, but there are certain products I reach for over and over again, and those are the ones I want backups of.
Skincare
- INNBEAUTY PROJECT: The moisturizers and eye cream have become favorites, and I’ve now added their face wash to my routine.
- rhode: I keep reaching for the hydrating mist, the Glazing Milk, and the Barrier Butter in the colder months. I love that hydrated, healthy-looking finish.
- Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask: I’ve gone through countless tubes. I put it on and sleep in it when my skin feels parched.
- ILIA Lip Wrap: I’ve used this for years and ALWAYS have it on hand. It’s the one lip mask that actually leaves my lips moisturized.
- First Aid Beauty Brighten + Glow Facial Radiance Pads: Exfoliating is tricky with ultra-sensitive skin, but these give me gentle exfoliation without leaving my skin feeling stripped.
- Experiment Super Saturated Hydrating Barrier Serum: A recent buy, and I can ALREADY tell a difference. My skin feels so hydrated and, dare I say, my redness has chilled out?!
Makeup
- Dior Forever Skin Perfect Foundation Stick: A complexion staple. I use shade 1.5N or 2CR. I also love Dior Forever Glow in shade 2 for the prettiest radiant glow.
- rhode Pocket Blush and Bronzer: So buttery and easy to blend. My blush is Tan Line, and my bronzer is Fair to Light.
- MERIT Clean Lash Lengthening Mascara: My go-to formula, and mascara is something I replace regularly, so why not save a little?
- Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder: Pricey, but I refuse to be without it. It’s so finely milled and never looks cakey.
- Armani Eye Tint in 22 Cashew: You know I love a one-and-done eye. There’s a holiday kit with this shade and a GORGEOUS champagne shimmer.
Hair
- Crown Affair The Hair Towel: Not just any towel. I’ve never had one absorb water like this, and it’s also huge?!?! It really helps with frizz and cuts down drying time.

Holiday Gift Sets I’m Eyeing
Can we talk about how much I love holiday beauty sets? They’re great for gifting, they’re a fun excuse to try something new, and the smaller sizes are perfect for travel.
- Soft Services Buffing Bar Set: Elevated body care is such a good gift because it’s a little luxury people don’t usually buy for themselves. (I buy this for myself, too!)
- Salt & Stone Fragrance Set: On my personal wishlist. A discovery set is perfect when you’re curious about a brand but not ready to commit to a full-size bottle.
- Sephora Favorites Holiday Perfume Sampler: I love gifting these. You get a bunch of samples plus a certificate to redeem for a full-size fragrance.
- CYKLAR: A body care brand I’ve enjoyed and want to try more of. I also love to gift it!
Smart Shopping Tips
- Build your cart before your tier opens. Then you’re just checking out, not scrolling.
- Shop early. Popular holiday sets and shades sell out fast.
- Use your points. Redeem them for extra savings or sample sets.
- Check limits and exclusions. Some brands are excluded or have quantity limits.
- Be intentional. Focus on what you’ll actually use, not just what’s trending.
