Lipsticks are an amazing way to change up your look, BUT they aren’t for everyone. I’m not afraid to throw on a pop of color, but for those of you who don’t like to go crazy with a lip color, I’ve got the 4 lipsticks you need from Milani Cosmetics that will help give your lips some life! Some are more nude-ish than others, but for the most part these lipsticks are pretty low-key. Plus, they are seriously budget friendly.
The 4 Lipsticks you need from Milani Cosmetics
I call these “everyday appropriate” lipsticks. They are a little bit more than my natural lip color, but nothing I would be intimidated to wear even if I didn’t love wearing lip colors. Recently I was in CVS (imagine that, ha) and there was a sale on Milani Cosmetics. These 4 Lipsticks caught my attention and it’s exactly why I titled this post “The 4 Lipsticks you need from Milani Cosmetics.” It took one swipe of each of these colors to realize that they are colors most everyone can pull off. Plus, these are each under $10.00 and right now they are on sale at CVS. SCORE!! Here’s what lipsticks I think you need in your life right now from Milani Cosmetics:
1. Matte Naked #61
Matte Naked is best described as a Medium Nude. It’s got a darker rose tone to it and it’s so lovely. This lipstick is part of the Milani Cosmetics Moisture Matte Collection. It contains Grape Seed Extract to hydrate the lips. It’s a very pigmented lipstick. Seriously, one layer of this is all I need. I was shocked that this was a Matte Lipstick that actually feels good on the lips. Milani Cosmetics claims that this is pretty much “smear-proof” and I think that statement is pretty accurate. It stayed on my lips a considerable amount of time, especially being a matte formula. (This photographs more on the brown side, but it’s not that dark at all! TRUST ME)
2.Matte Blissful #62
Matte Blissful is best described as a matte, blush pink with a bit of color to it! To me, it’s got a pop of fuchsia, but it’s not overwhelming at all. Again, this lipstick is part of the Milani Cosmetics Moisture Matte Collection. It contains Grape Seed Extract to hydrate the lips. (It’s the same as above.) It’s very smear-proof and stayed on my lips a considerable amount of time. I really love this lipstick!
3. Nude Creme #26
Nude Creme is a part of the Color Statement Collection from Milani Cosmetics. It is best described as a Pink Nude (by Milani) but to me it has more of a coral tone to it?!? I still love the color and once applied, it is a really delicate soft, nude color on my lips. Out of the four lipsticks, this is the lightest in my opinion. It contains Vitamins A and C that will help to hydrate and nourish the lips. It has a nice sheen to it, but nothing obnoxious. (This photographs a lot more coral than it really is)
4. Pretty Natural #26
Pretty Natural is best described as a natural Rose shade. It is probably my favorite color out of the 4 lipsticks. I feel like it’s a perfect lipstick for a pop of color on my lips. I feel like Pretty Natural is more a fun, playful bright rose shade, where the Matte Naked is more a warmer, darker rose shade. It does have a little bit of sheen since it’s a part of the Color Statement Collection. This is such a great color!
I also want to talk about the packaging of these Milani Cosmetics Lipsticks. These look more high-end than drugstore. I especially love it when a company includes the actual color on the packaging. At the bottom of the lipsticks, you’ll notice the color and name of the lipstick. I can keep these flipped upside down on my makeup shelf and I can instantly see what color is what. I LOVE that. The lipsticks do have a slight scent to them, but it wasn’t anything over powering. The Matte colors actually smelled like chocolate faintly and the other two lipsticks had a scent to them, but I couldn’t really place what it was. The scents didn’t bother me.
These 4 Lipsticks from Milani Cosmetics would work for a lot of different skin tones and they are great options for someone who doesn’t want a ton of color on their lips, but just enough. DO NOT GET ME WRONG, I love a bold lipstick every now and then, but sometimes we just want something simple and easy to wear. These are a no-muss, no-fuss type lipstick that can even be applied without a mirror (no worries of messing it up at all). Plus, I think once you see how pigmented they are for the money, you’ll be sold! Have you tried any Milani Cosmetics lipsticks? Which ones are you loving?
