If you’re like me, your Kindle is one of your most-used items. It goes everywhere with me — curled up on the couch, in my pool bag, and even in my carry-on when I travel. The beauty of the Kindle is that it’s lightweight, portable, and can hold hundreds of books.
But let’s be honest: the right accessories can take your Kindle from just a device to a whole reading experience. Whether you want extra protection, hands-free reading, or just to decorate it so it feels like yours, I’ve rounded up the best Kindle accessories in 2025 for book lovers.
Protective Cases & Covers
The first thing every Kindle owner needs is a case. Not only do they protect your device, but they can also double as a stand.
- Amazon Fabric Cover – Sleek, lightweight, and comes in multiple colors.
- MoKo Clear Case – Perfect if you like to decorate your Kindle with stickers.
- Waterproof Case – A must if you’re reading poolside or in the bathtub.
- Decorative Case– I LOVE Page The Shop Kindle cases. I’ve purchased several. You can find so many online.
💡 Tip: I personally use a clear case so I can switch out decals whenever I feel like giving my Kindle a new vibe.
Skins, Stickers & Decals
If you’re not into bulky cases, a skin is a fun way to make your Kindle unique.
- DecalGirl Skins – Tons of patterns, from floral to abstract art.
- Etsy Bookish Stickers – If you want something seasonal or totally custom.
- PopSockets or magnetic grips – Not technically “for Kindles,” but they make holding it more comfortable.
- MagSafe Magnetic Stickers– This is what you need to be able to us

- e a PopSocket with your Kindle!
Stands & Page-Turners
Sometimes you just want to read hands-free (especially when you’re eating, cooking, or lounging in bed).
- Gooseneck Stand – Clamps to your nightstand and makes bedtime reading effortless.
- Flippy Pillow Stand – A soft, cozy option for couch or bed.
- Remote Page-Turner (like for e-readers/iPads) – Game-changer for reading without lifting a finger.
Lights & Screen Helpers
While most newer Kindles have built-in lighting, sometimes you need more control.
- Clip-On Reading Light – Great for travel or if you share a bed and don’t want to disturb anyone. Sometimes I’ll use this clip-on reading light if I’m listening to an audiobook and journaling.
- Anti-Glare Screen Protector – Perfect if you read outside a lot.
Charging & Power
The last thing you want is your Kindle dying mid-chapter.
- Anker Nano Power Bank – Tiny, lightweight, and gives your Kindle extra life.
- 2-Pack Extra Long Charging Cables – Perfect for reading while charging in bed.
- Travel Pouch for Accessories – Keeps your charger, cable, and other accessories together. I always travel with this!
Fun Extras
Not necessary, but definitely fun.
- Book Sleeve – A padded pouch to toss your Kindle in when traveling.
- Stylus (if you annotate) – Works with Kindle Scribe or e-ink devices with note-taking.
- Kindle Charms – I haven’t purchased one yet, but I keep seeing them on Kindles and think they’re adorable! There are so many on Etsy! I really want this one!
- Kindle Inserts– If you have a clear case, a lot of people use a Kindle Insert to decorate the case. These are an easy decoration and can be swapped out at any time.
Final Thoughts
Your Kindle already makes reading easier, but these accessories add a whole new layer of comfort, convenience, and personalization. I love swapping out cases and stickers seasonally, keeping a portable charger handy when I travel, and using my pillow stand for Sunday reading marathons.
